I find it odd that so many people who seem worried about "Big Brother' knowing their business, whether government or corporations, can feign ignorance when using these 'free' services. There's open source and shareware, and becoming part of an online community that supports the 'commons', but that ain't Facebook! &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I say more power to the entrepreneur in all of us, as we ride the wave of transition from the world of Milton Friedman's Chicago School of Economics (please!) to something that is emerging as more complex and dynamic and interactive and, perhaps, self-organizing and inclusive of local as well as global. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I just hope that people don't stop developing their critical thinking 'muscles', as they spend their energy turning a blind eye....&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Judi Piggott</dc:creator><pubDate>Thu, 16 Jun 2011 21:38:01 -0000</pubDate></item><item><title>Re: How I use Social Media</title><link>http://judipiggott.ca/blog/2011/06/how-i-use-social-media/#comment-227680358</link><description>&lt;p&gt;You nailed it on this, Judy.
